Preparation Take the meet out of the fridge about 20 minutes before starting the recipe's preparation so it is not too cold and can be properly cooked. Start by preparing the cheddar sauce (it is optional for those who like mixing meat with cheese sauces). In a saucepan on a low fire, add the butter so it starts melting. Once the process has begun, add the 2 teaspoons of flour. You can use wheat or corn flour; choose the one you prefer. After that, grate the cheese and add it with the milk to the mix. Let the sauce thicken a bit. The next thing will be cooking the mini burgers. If you have a grill or a grill pan, better. Heat the grill to the maximum temperature. With two teaspoons of oil or with an oil-buttered brush, you can spread the burgers a bit with oil. Once the fire is hot, put the burgers on the grill. Lower the fire so they can be cooked slowly, about 2 or 3 minutes on each side. You can add some spices, such as pepper or cumin. While the burger is being cooked, use another pan to toast the bread slightly for a crunchy touch. Use a wooden board to start assembling the mini burgers. Presentation Put a couple of sliced gherkins on the bread base and add some sauce on top of the meat before placing the top bread part. You can add some cherry tomatoes on one side of the plate and gherkins on the other.
